I tried to write some humor 
At best, it’s just a rumor 
I fell flat upon my face
Cuz my funny bone’s out of place
I’m not really built for humor
Just an aging obese tumor
Just waddling to and fro
Trying to avoid the status quo
I am the brunt of humor
An involuntary consumer
I’ve quit the comedy circuit 
To retire as a hermit
