Lynching and hegemony are hallmarks of your legacy
You whitewash any history instead of feeling shame
You what-about and deflect to absolve accusations of blame
You cover-up and complicate, your spine’s evaporated
You bob and weave, avoid the truth, your soul’s emasculated
