In freedom to conceive
That we are all equal
As beings, as people
Neither faith nor melanin
Detracts from the soul within
That equal opportunity
Enhances community
That we can spend the day
In whatever way
To exist with empathy
Is the heart of humanity
It seems like pie in the sky
But till the day I die
You can call me naive
But this I believe
