Sometimes I just don't understand
What causes love to be 
What causes hearts to merge as one
And set your spirits free
Sometimes I think I sense it
But I'm mostly at a lost
To find an explanation
For emotion that can cost
Me any sense of true salvation
A feeling of the heart
A chance to share both highs and lows
A moment to impart
To you a notion or sensation
'Bout how you make me feel
A trembling deep within my soul
That's difficult to conceal
