I wanted to write a letter
To say my life is better
Because you are in my world
I'm guilty of eating shellfish
And acting extremely selfish
But you've given me perspective
And made me more effective
As a friend and human being
Because you are in my world
Time is rather fleeting
And while our hearts are beating
I have love and appreciation
And without much elaboration
I just wanted you to know
How you've helped me grow
Because you are in my world
