Proclivity - ON WRITING AND RUNNING

I have this strange proclivity to be struck by creativity when I really should be sleeping while my sanity is seeping.
My brain is pretty listless and I admit to being witless but the neurons will ignite usually really late at night.
I can get pretty stressed ‘cause I was hoping for some rest and now it’s o dark thirty and I’m feeling quite unsturdy.
I wish there was an on-and-off switch since I’m tired of the skull glitch. I find it hard to take because I’m now wide awake.
Time to OD on melatonin to help with serotonin otherwise I’ll be depressed and I certainly need the rest.
From creativity to depression, it’s a very weird obsession. I should be sleeping at this time yet here I am with sing-song rhyme.
