I screwed up
With the cat and pups
And their afternoon snack
Has now come back
To haunt me
The pups got some catnip and
The cat got doggie downers
So now I’m up for hours
With the pups roaming around
Their toenails making endless sound
Against the hardwood floor
And the cat’s just chillin’
Saying “Cool man”
