My life was altered by the movie MASH
It sent me down a rocky path
To see if things were painless
A silly and insane mess
Of black capsules and brown liquor
How to end things in a flicker
But at many things I try, a failure I engender
So now I am decrepit, to old age I will surrender
Of achy bones and some arthritis
Of bad memory and detritus
With decades on this planet
Of too much time running the gamut
Spending hours overthinking
Of existing out of synching
It seems too late to turn around
So I await the burial mound
I have way too many regrets
And innumerable debts
While it sounds extremely screwy
I stopped watching any movie
