Basking in morality
Picking up the bootstraps
Champion of the family
Guardian of the flag
Trickle down prosperity
Believer in the faith
A hero for posterity
But you wouldn't know the truth
If it bit you in the ass
It's tax cuts for the rich
And destroy the middle class
Castigate the poor
For trying to exist
Take away their safety net
And batter with the fist
Weaponize religion
To justify your sin
Use sadism as a cudgel
All that matters is a win
Your belief in the Almighty
Is in conflict with the Bible
If there really was a God
She'd be suing you for libel
You fetishize the gun
With manic religious fervor
You idolize the rifle
Like some crazy life preserver
It’s time for you to disappear
Thoughts and prayers for you
Your feelings no longer matter
