I felt a kiss brush by my face
It disappeared without a trace
And left me feeling quite bemused
It kindled emotions seldom used
I felt empowered by affection
It got me moving in the right direction
I'd forgotten about the sense of touch
And how I miss it oh so much
Since that moment I seem to brood
I'm lost amid a woeful mood
Things are not always what they seem
It's as if the kiss was but a dream
