Invalidate - ON WRITING AND RUNNING

This is what I wrote
A short little note
Agreeing with you
But my point of view
Was misconstrued
And you conclude
I said the opposite
I could argue the case
But time it would waste
So I said “My mistake”
The hit I did take
Can I really move on
Without righting the wrong
Can I do the opposite of the opposite
I feel so depressed
And rather obsessed
I should remain mute
About this trivial pursuit
So here I will vent
In my downward descent
In search of the opposite of the opposite of the opposite
