My brain has gone away
There’s some discussion
About lifetime dysfunction
But non compos mentis
Is the ultimate sentence
Heartache and head trauma
Old age is the final drama
Any shred of confidence
Is gone with my incompetence
Lack of sleep and sanity
Is adding to my apathy
Dizziness and oblivious
Is improving the insidious
Just another afterthought
Looking for a final plot
