A forgotten memory persists of a nighttime dancer slowly gyrating
The enticing movements dazzling and distracting the mind into migrating
From the mystical to the mythical
From the frivolous to the ridiculous
I have a vague impression of a kiss that seems to gently brush against my face
The heat rekindles thoughts of younger days caught in a blaze of distant emotions
Was it real or just a dream
Can it be proven or just a delusion
There's a fleeting vision of being so close your softness was irresistible
Yet the space from your heart and soul made me ponder if this was fact or fiction
I think I'm dreaming but hope I'm not Is this madness or just pathetic sadness
