I stand before you as a schmuck, a jerk of the finest kind
A somewhat pompous piece of crap with a nicely narrow mind
A self deluded genius, who wasted time in school
Awash in my own hubris, a simpleton, a fool
I credit my self-absorption to some reclusive gene
Add a dollop of duplicity that’s virtually obscene
I’m not here for absolutions, my fate is cut and dried
No need for last minute appeals, I’m the first to yell DENIED
I regret the mess I made, I’ve always been quite witless
This is just a one night stand with an exit expeditious
It’s taken way too many years to accept my life as blunder
