I’ve been circling Sol for way too long
Randomly right but more often wrong
The most recent group of circuits
Have seen an infestation of maggots
Who have manipulated the daily news
Into dreams of a permanent snooze
What remains of my centripetal force
That has kept me occasionally on course
Consistently, persistently
Is saddled by entropy
Each passing second
I’m being beckoned
To call it a day
To just go away
So, while 69 maybe divine
I’ve been forced to resign
Cuz I’ve run out of time
