We strive for cannon fodder
A member of a family
Perhaps a son or daughter
We really love the fetus
They’re protected by holy reason
But once they leave the womb
They’re  targets for hunting season
Thoughts and prayers are useless
Morality is what you shirk
You fetishize the gun
