Apology - ON WRITING AND RUNNING

I think my brain is very lost
I’m thinking‘bout the final cost
So while I have some sense of me
I’m offering a sincere apology
I am awful at communicating
I know that this is very frustrating
I find I talk tangentially
And babble on quite carelessly
I battle with my own selfish mind
Which tends to leave me very blind
With each day, I’m more forgetful
Which leaves me feeling quite regretful
I’m lacking any logical judgments
The end results are sad begrudgements
I’m sorry I’m not the best of friends
I wish to offer heartfelt amends
I have no hope in my defense
But I am grateful for your presence
