My writing paper’s empty
And there’s nothing in my brain
I wish that I could find the words
To help me write anew
What thoughts I have seem so contrived
The rhyming scheme inane
The meter’s so erratic
Will I ever write anew
Feeling blocked, just need to write
To keep my spirit sane
Why is it such a struggle
Will I have the right anew
