1:31 a.m. - ON WRITING AND RUNNING

This is a two week notice for my exit strategy
It’s missing lots of details and any practicality
There is no long term vision nor any expectation
I am short of any answers or even rational explanation
This moment feels so perfect in a manic sort of way
I must take full advantage before my nerves betray
I am no longer interested in dwelling on the past
I am the king of stupid, my realm is pretty vast
The exit is pretty risky but has a whimsical appeal
Yet there is a sense of freedom, it’s weird and so surreal
I won’t be relocating, no forwarding address
The time has come to go and drown in sweet success
Thank you for your patience and extraordinary heart
The moment is at hand, my sins and I depart
